Jesse James is continuing to promote his memoir, but he's been careful about ever mentioning ex-wife Sandra Bullock throughout the publicity campaign. That was, until, Jesse sat down with Piers Morgan this week and claimed that he believes Sandra Bullock's public gushing about him was always totally phony.
Jesse James and Sandra Bullock were married for five years until summer 2010, when Sandra filed for divorce after Jesse was busted in a multitude of graphic mistress affairs. Now Jesse insists he's the one who came out of the divorce on top, as he's marrying Kat Von D this summer and promoting his first memoir.
It's no wonder Jesse James has at least enough intelligence to skirt around the issue of Sandra Bullock in interviews, given how incredibly sharp Sandra's lawyers must be. But when Piers Morgan brought up the issue of how happily married Bullock seemed to be with James, especially in the public eye, Jesse tried to slither his way out of the guilt by asserting (with repulsive cockiness) that Sandra Bullock was fake.

Piers Morgan said he once chatted with Bullock about her marriage, and at the time, she was still happy with Jesse. "I wake up every day, and I remind myself how lucky I am to have him," she's quoted having said. Then, Piers Morgan asks, what about the Golden Globe and Academy Award speeches Sandra gave in which she publicly declared her love and gratitude for her husband?
Jesse replies, "She said that same speech at four different awards shows. You saw two of them, so. You can take whatever you get out of it." James says he believes Sandra only meant those words "to a certain extent."

Then, continuing to act like a total sociopath, Jesse says he's thrilled to be out of the A-list Hollywood circles because everyone there is "pretend." "I just can't ... I don't know how I survived in there as long as I did," Jesse told Piers. "I mean, the rest of those people? I just can't hang with them ... I don't belong trying to think that I'm some fancy, you know, because my wife is fancy, 'That makes me fancy,'" he mocks. "That's bullsh*t."
The classy, upstanding, influential figures in Hollywood? You're right, Jesse: you just can't hang with those people. Flip through our Sandra Bullock slideshow, and hit the blue links for more.
