Arya and Amala turn big trophy hunters after Vettai

The biggest gainers at Kollywood star Sensex after Pongal is Arya and Amala.

They have entered the big league following the success of Lingusamy’s UTV produced Vettai.

Arya has proved that he has an opening with Vettai. He has been accepted as an action hero with the film, where his fight scenes have been appreciated.

The industry grapevine has it that he has raised his salary, and has now touched the Rs 5 C market.

Amala has also received a big boost following the success of Vettai, where she has been paired as the romantic lead of Arya.

Their chemistry crackled, and in the song “Kattipudi”, Amala sizzled and looked glamorous in those bandage dresses and perfect make up.

It looks like Lingusamy and UTV Motion Pictures through Vettai have given Arya and Amala their big ticket to superstardom.

KSY to release on Valentine day: Siddharth

Siddharth, who was last outung in Tamil was 180 is back in Kadhal Soddapavadhu Yeppadi ( KSY) where he pairs up with Amala Paul.

The actor also turns co producer with this film teaming up with Ynot Productions’ Sashikanth who last made Va Quarter Cutting.

The actor was gung ho about the film at a media meet today, which he termed as a dream come true, since he always wanted to turn producer someday and involve himself in the film making process.

The film was made after the producers both saw the ten minute original short film on the Net by Balaji Mohan and approached him to make a full length film.

Talking about the love story, Siddharth said, ‘It’s a cute love film aimed at a Valentine’s day ( Feb 14) release. Its not about preaching or giving solutions about how not to mess up in love. There is no perfect manual about how to fall in love. I myself have messed up several times in my life in many things including love, right from my teenage years. Everyone of all ages can relate to this film in some way or the other.”

Thaman has scored the music and Nirav Shah has done the camerawork along with being co-producer.

Amala Paul was conspicuous by her absence and when reporters asked the team about this, Sashikanth revealed that she was away, because of an exam arrear that she had to write.

Siddharth has also sung a song in the film, the trailer of which was shown to the media.
