Siddharth, who was last outung in Tamil was 180 is back in Kadhal Soddapavadhu Yeppadi ( KSY) where he pairs up with Amala Paul.
The actor also turns co producer with this film teaming up with Ynot Productions’ Sashikanth who last made Va Quarter Cutting.
The actor was gung ho about the film at a media meet today, which he termed as a dream come true, since he always wanted to turn producer someday and involve himself in the film making process.
The film was made after the producers both saw the ten minute original short film on the Net by Balaji Mohan and approached him to make a full length film.
Talking about the love story, Siddharth said, ‘It’s a cute love film aimed at a Valentine’s day ( Feb 14) release. Its not about preaching or giving solutions about how not to mess up in love. There is no perfect manual about how to fall in love. I myself have messed up several times in my life in many things including love, right from my teenage years. Everyone of all ages can relate to this film in some way or the other.”
Thaman has scored the music and Nirav Shah has done the camerawork along with being co-producer.
Amala Paul was conspicuous by her absence and when reporters asked the team about this, Sashikanth revealed that she was away, because of an exam arrear that she had to write.
Siddharth has also sung a song in the film, the trailer of which was shown to the media.
