Top music directors in Kollywood are eager to test the voice of international star singers.
Shah Rukh Khan persuaded international rap singer Akon to say “Chammak Challo” for his RA One, which became a chartbuster.
Since then Tamil music directors and actors have been dreaming of bringing invarious international stars to sing for them.
There were initial rumours that STR planned to croon his peace anthem with Akon and Rihanna.
However STR flew to LA, and recorded his Love Anthem as a solo.
Now the latest buzz is that Yuvan Shankar Raja who is in US for Billa 2 promosong is trying to rope in American rapper Pitbull.
AR Murgadoss and Vijay along with music director Harris Jayaraj are keen to bring Akon’s magic to do a Tamil Kuthu song for their new Thuppakki.
STR wants Shakira to do a song and dance number for Poda Podi.
It looks like international star singers will soon collaborate with Kollywood music directors, to churn out fusion hits.
